I bought this game for the PS4 as soon as I saw it on the PS Store, not just because for nostalgia's sake (where the 'in' word was 'sprites'), I bought this game for the PS4 as soon as I saw it on the PS Store, not just because for nostalgia's sake (where the 'in' word was 'sprites'), but also because in my opinion it is the best in the series. I played almost all of the games in the Metal Slug series, but if I remember it right this is the only game that has branching/alternative paths all throughout the missions. Single Player, Xbox LIVE Multiplayer 2-6, Local Multiplayer 2-4, HD (High Definition).
Play with a friend and double the fun! So why only a 7? A 7 from me is a 'good' to 'very good' rating. What keeps it from scoring a little higher is that the game is just a port from the original arcade game. I mean, it's not even a 'remaster' - no HD visuals (304 x 224 resolution, anyone?).
